Czech Customs Stop Truck for Unpaid Fines on D3 Highway

Czech customs officers on the D3 highway stopped a truck whose operator owed nearly 200,000 crowns in fines. The driver was informed that the trailer would be seized if the amount was not paid, leading to the operator promptly settling the debt.

Celníci na jihu Čech zastavili na dálnici D3 nákladní vůz s návěsem, jehož provozovatel dlužil na pokutách 175 500 korun. Celníci řidiči sdělili, že pokud částku neuhradí, návěs mu zadrží. Jeho provozovatel záhy přijel na místo a celou pokutu zaplatil. Novináře o tom ve čtvrtek informoval mluvčí jihočeských celníků Radek Kréda.
