Czech Army Reconstructs Barracks for New Leopard Tanks

The Czech army has begun reconstructing century-old barracks in Přáslavice, Olomouc region, to accommodate 48 new Leopard tanks, as the existing facilities no longer meet modern requirements.

Zástupci armády zahájili v Přáslavicích na Olomoucku rekonstrukci kasáren. Vojáci tam působí víc než sto let a areál už nesplňuje potřebné parametry. Investice by měla zahrnovat stavbu nových skladů, ubytoven, garáží a dílen. Jako první ale přišla na řadu dva kilometry dlouhá páteřní cesta napříč kasárnami. Potřeba je mimo jiné kvůli nové technice, tankům Leopard.
