Crown Apologizes and Changes Place Names in Ngāti Ruapani Settlement

As part of a historical treaty settlement, the New Zealand government has officially apologized for past attacks and land losses suffered by the Ngāti Ruapani iwi, alongside renaming six locations to reflect their traditional associations.
