Croatian HDZ Blocks Supreme Court President Election for Seventh Time

Croatia's ruling HDZ party has once again, for the seventh time, blocked the procedure for electing the head of the Supreme Court. Their insistence on combining two legally and constitutionally incompatible processes—the election of the Supreme Court president with three constitutional judges—is cited as the main obstacle.
