Crisis at Silesian Children's Oncology Center as Doctors Resign on Opening Day

The opening of the Silesian Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology in Zabrze was marred by the resignation of a six-person medical team on the very day it was meant to begin a new era in treating young cancer patients.

Otwarcie 1 lipca Śląskiego Centrum Onkologii i Hematologii Dziecięcej w Zabrzu miało być początkiem nowego etapu w leczeniu najmłodszych pacjentów z chorobami nowotworowymi. Tego samego dnia sześcioosobowy zespół lekarzy rozwiązał jednak umowy o pracę. Medycy mieli zastrzeżenia dotyczące m.in. zakresu leczenia, organizacji dyżurów i przygotowania procedur.
