CPI expels Nattika MLA Mukundan for 'anti-party activities'

The Communist Party of India (CPI) has expelled Nattika MLA Mukundan, citing 'anti-party activities' after he announced plans to contest as a UDF-backed Independent. The decision was reportedly backed by the Thrissur district council.
