Místo hotového bydlení si Eva se Stefanem vybrali dům z roku 1949, který potřeboval velkou proměnu. Neměli peníze na designéra ani kompletní rekonstrukci, a tak se do práce pustili sami. Zbourali stěnu, položili nové podlahy, postupně proměnili interiér a z bleších trhů přinesli věci, které daly starému domu novou atmosféru.
