Council of State Warns of Relaxed Migrant Background Checks

The Council of State has alerted the Migration department to a 'relaxation' in background checks for migrants, warning that a simple 'responsible declaration' of no criminal record, as per the decree, could lead to 'unrigorous and even irregular practices'.
