Consumer Union Declares Monthly Bank Fee on Deposit Accounts Illegal
The Consumer Union for Quality of Life (EKPOIZO) announced that a court decision prohibits the National Bank of Greece from imposing a monthly charge of €0.8 on "Simple Savings" or "Simple Current" accounts. EKPOIZO states the court decision is immediately enforceable.
