Im Sudan halten sich die Sorgen vor einem weiteren Massaker durch die Rapid Support Forces (RSF) hartnäckig: Die RSF-Miliz hatte in den vergangenen Wochen mittels Drohnenangriffen und Belagerungstaktiken versucht, die Kontrolle über die Stadt al-Obeid im besonders umkämpften Bundesstaat Nordkordofan zu erlangen. Erst am Mittwoch wurden wieder Drohnenangriffe auf die Stadt gemeldet.
