Colau Proposes Housing Commissioner to Combat Speculative Buying in Catalonia

Ada Colau, former mayor of Barcelona, intends to appoint a housing commissioner to tackle speculative property buying in Catalonia. The proposed head of the 'Dirección General de Disciplina de Vivienda' previously received two direct contracts from the Generalitat, one for a report on the law to pursue property owners and another for training.
