Christchurch Airbnb Owners Require Consent or Must Cease Operations

Christchurch City Council's ruling that Airbnb owners need to obtain consent or stop operating has been backed by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), which determined that owners had changed the unit's use from its consented purpose.
