Ceremonial burial held for bodies donated to science in Lithuania
A unique ceremony was held in Kaunas by the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) for the solemn burial of the remains of 24 individuals who donated their bodies to science after death. The remains were escorted from the Kaunas Archcathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul and interred in Petrašiūnai Cemetery.
