MCALESTER — The Byng Lady Pirates’ battle with host McAlester Thursday afternoon was tight — until it wasn’t. Byng broke a scoreless tie with nine runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and rolled to a 9-0 victory over the Lady Buffaloes at the McAlester Festival.
