Over 800 former patients of Dr. George Chan Dentistry in Brantford, Ontario, have been reminded by Grand Erie Public Health to get tested for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV following the dentist's resignation.

Grand Erie Public Health is reminding former patients of Dr. George Chan Dentistry in Brantford, Ont., to get tested for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV. According to files from GEPH obtained by CBC News through a freedom-of-information request, 884 patients were sent letters advising them to get screening. Chan resigned in July, the dental college says.
