Media and civil society begin training on electoral integrity awareness campaigns in Bougainville

Journalists and civil society organisations in Bougainville have begun a five-day training programme focused on building public awareness campaigns around electoral integrity that started on Monday at the Kuri Resort Conference Room in Buka. The training, which runs from 24 to 28 August 2026, is supported under the European Union-funded project Preventing and Countering Corruption in Papua New Guinea.
