After a period without new reports, bear sightings have resumed in the central area of Utsunomiya, Japan, prompting local authorities to issue renewed warnings to residents.

Streunender Bär sorgt für Schulschließungen
Seit einigen Jahren nimmt in Japan die Zahl der Sichtungen und auch jene der Angriffe von Bären deutlich zu. Betroffen sind nicht nur ländliche Gebiete, sondern auch städtische, derzeit vor allem die Stadt Utsunomiya. Seit Tagen streunt hier ein Bär, wenn nicht sogar mehrere, umher. Am Montag blieben deshalb sämtliche Schulen geschlossen.

宇都宮市の中心部では、6日から8日朝にかけてクマの目撃が相次ぎましたが、最後に住宅街で目撃されてから、半日以上新たな情報がありません。栃木県や宇都宮市の担当者は、クマが人目を避けるために茂みなどに潜み、日が暮れてから動き始めるおそれもあるとして、改めて注意を呼びかけています。
