Barn Fire Kills One Thousand Goats in Epe, Netherlands

A large barn fire broke out overnight in Epe, Gelderland, resulting in the death of approximately one thousand goats. Emergency services were alerted around 1:30 AM.

In Epe, in Gelderland, is afgelopen nacht een grote brand uitgebroken in een stal. Daarbij zijn zo'n duizend geiten omgekomen. De brand in de stal aan de Oenerweg brak rond 1.30 uur uit. Hulpdiensten werden kort daarna gealarmeerd en kwamen met verschillende eenheden naar Epe om het vuur te bestrijden, schrijft Omroep Gelderland. De stal stond toen al grotendeels in brand.
