Bank of Portugal Prevents €6.5 Million in Fraud Since 2024

The Bank of Portugal (BdP) has prevented €6.5 million in fraud since the beginning of 2024, with beneficiary confirmation and the SPIN system reducing fraud by 21%. Portugal remains the only EU country without anti-spoofing legislation.
