B.C. Man Acquitted of Drug Smuggling, Citing Fentanyl Withdrawal
A 40-year-old B.C. man, Daniel Jacob Cluett, was acquitted of smuggling cocaine, MDMA, and meth into Canada. The judge believed his claim that he was unaware of the drugs in his suitcase due to severe fentanyl withdrawal symptoms.
