Major Indian Supermarket Chain Plans Record Rupee Bond Sale

Avenue Supermarts Ltd., a leading Indian supermarket operator, plans to raise up to 10 billion rupees ($105 million) through a domestic bond offering, according to people familiar with the matter, its largest ever as corporate debt sales in the country gain momentum.
