Austrian Prosecutor's Office Declines Jurisdiction in Thomas Schmid False Statement Case

The WKStA (Central Public Prosecutor's Office for Combating Economic Crime and Corruption) has declined jurisdiction in an investigation into a potential false statement by Thomas Schmid, initiated by a complaint from former Chancellor Kurz. The Attorney General's Office will now determine which authority is responsible for the case.
