Archaeological Excavations Resume at Historic Barutnica Site in North Macedonia
New archaeological research has begun at the Barutnica site near Amzabegovo, reviving interest in a location first internationally recognized in 1960 before falling into scientific neglect. The project, led by the Sveti Nikole People's Museum, aims to uncover historical artifacts and preserve the area's cultural heritage.
