Anwar Pledges UUCA Repeal and Rules Out Full GST Return

Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has committed to fully repealing the Universities and University Colleges Act (UUCA) this year to foster academic freedom. Concurrently, he has dismissed the possibility of a full Goods and Services Tax (GST) return, citing concerns over the cost of living.
