ANAC Clarifies Airport Queues Do Not Entitle Compensation in Portugal

Portugal's civil aviation regulator, ANAC, has clarified that airlines are not responsible for delays caused by border controls at airports, and therefore passengers are not entitled to compensation for such queues. The PSP police and ANA airport operator may be questioned in court regarding these delays.
