Amazon beats Walmart to become No 1 company by sales, but why it need not 'worry’
Amazon has surpassed Walmart as the world's largest company by revenue, reporting $717 billion in sales for 2025. This milestone, however, is largely attributed to Amazon Web Services, a sector Walmart does not compete in. Analysts suggest this revenue gain doesn't signify a retail victory, as Walmart maintains its dominance in physical retail.
