Allahabad High Court Upholds Talaq-e-Hasan Validity and 1977 Bribery Conviction

The Allahabad High Court ruled that Talaq-e-Hasan is valid when pronounced according to Muslim law. Separately, the court upheld a one-year jail sentence for a man who took a Rs 300 bribe in 1977, 40 years after the incident.
