Albanian Authorities Demolish 7 Buildings for Corridor 8 Project
Albania's National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection demolished seven buildings, four of which were unauthorized, along the Elbasan-Papër road segment as part of the Corridor 8 infrastructure project. The demolitions are intended to clear the path for the construction of a new road, a key component of the Corridor 8 transit route. Authorities stated that the action was necessary to ensure the project's timely completion and to address illegal constructions that hindered public interest.
