Akava Proposes Easing Unemployment Benefit Requirements to Aid Youth Employment
Akava, the Finnish Confederation of Professionals, is advocating for an easier work requirement for earnings-related unemployment benefits to facilitate job searching for young people. Chairperson Maria Löfgren also hopes public funds can be directed through companies to promote higher education internships.
