AI Deciphers 2,000-Year-Old Herculaneum Papyrus Scroll

Scientists have successfully deciphered a 2,000-year-old papyrus scroll from Herculaneum, which was carbonized during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, using artificial intelligence. This breakthrough allowed the complete text of the scroll to be read for the first time without physically unrolling it.
