17 Gilded Buddha Statues Unearthed in Sri Lanka's Sacred City

Archaeologists in Sri Lanka have unearthed 17 gilded Buddha statues at a UNESCO World Heritage site believed to have been a monastery over 2,000 years ago. The discovery was announced by an official on Wednesday.
