Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta has been granted Z security following a security breach and bomb threats at the Assembly complex. Security measures have been significantly tightened, including stricter entry checks, reinforced barriers, and the deployment of a CRPF Quick Response Team.

In a letter written to Birla, Vijender Gupta asserted that the neutrality of the Chair of the House is central to the parliamentary democracy of the country.
