Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has urged Public Sector Banks (PSBs) to adopt a 'cool' approach to attract young customers. She also called for the launch of a month-long youth campaign to engage this demographic.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested former CEOs of Reliance Commercial Finance Ltd (RCFL) and Reliance Home Finance Ltd (RHFL) in connection with a ₹7,623 crore bank fraud case, following an earlier registration of a ₹62.42 crore fraud case against a Mumbai firm. The accused are alleged to have caused losses of ₹4,097 crore to 13 Public Sector Banks (PSBs) in the RCFL case and ₹3,526 crore to 10 PSBs in the RHFL case.
