An ex-merchant navy officer, identified as Nagesh Kumar, has been arrested for allegedly leading an international cyber slavery gang that sent Indian 'cyber slaves' to two different nations.
A former merchant navy captain, Nagesh Kumar, has been apprehended for allegedly orchestrating a cyber slavery ring, luring Indian youths with false job promises to Cambodia and Laos where they were forced into fraudulent call centers.
“In the present scenario, a hike in oil prices, exports disruptions and impact on remittances have been identified as the immediate challenges,” RBI MPC member Nagesh Kumar said
