Nigeria's Joint Security Task Force, Operation Enduring Peace, has relocated its tactical headquarters to Mangu Local Government Area in Plateau State and launched 'Operation Hard Nut' in response to ongoing killings.

Following the killing of 24 people in Bin Mper community, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State, Governor Caleb Mutfwang has ordered security agencies to increase surveillance and patrols in the affected region.

The Plateau State Police Command has apprehended a suspected mastermind behind the deadly attack on the Bin-Per community in the Mangu Local Government Area, while the search for other attackers is ongoing.
