Lenders to Thames Water are reportedly planning a significant overhaul of the company's board if a rescue bid from the London & Valley Water consortium is approved this autumn, aiming to prevent nationalization.

London & Valley Water has offered to inject £3.35 billion of new equity and up to £6.55 billion in new debt to rescue the troubled supplier.
