The Nigerian Army has declared a fresh battle line against the Lakurawa terrorist group in Kebbe Local Government Area of Sokoto State, implementing strengthened security measures to prevent further attacks and infiltration.

Troops of Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA in Kebbi State ambushed the Lakurawa Terrorist Group (LTG) while they were en route to carry out attacks in the Dandi Local Government Area, recovering various items.

The Kebbi State Police Command successfully thwarted an attempt by the Lakurawa terrorist group to rustle 33 cows along the Kamba–Kangiwa road. During the operation, police neutralized one bandit.
