The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) plans to deploy police force to resolve a long-standing deadlock on the Katraj-Kondhwa road project, which has been stalled for a decade.

Heavy vehicles have been prohibited from using key routes in Kondhwa during evening hours throughout the Ramzan period to manage traffic and ensure smooth movement.

Communal tension has flared in Kondhwa, Pune, following a fight between teenagers, with reports of stone pelting.

A group of about 150 individuals is being sought by Saswad police. They are accused of attacking 14 men near a lake at Askarwadi. The victims were observing Ramzan Iftar when the assault occurred. The attackers reportedly used sticks, sharp weapons, and stones. The injured men received medical treatment. Police are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the suspects.
