Germany's finance ministry is reportedly planning a gradual increase in tobacco taxes, which could see the price of a pack of 20 cigarettes rise to over 11 euros by 2030.

Germany's Finance Ministry plans to substantially raise taxes on fine-cut tobacco for rolling or stuffing, making it significantly more expensive. The price increase for cigarettes, however, is expected to be more moderate than initially projected.
