Workers at the Federal University of Technology Akure Teaching Hospital (FUTATH) have refused to attend a scheduled meeting with Nigerian government officials aimed at resolving an ongoing industrial dispute.

Labour unions in Ondo State, including the NLC and TUC, are threatening an indefinite strike at the Federal University of Technology Akure Teaching Hospital (FUTATH). This action is in response to alleged union victimization and disputes over workers' rights and the IPPIS system.
