Fresh clashes have broken out between protestors from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh in Dhemaji district, coinciding with an ongoing call for an economic blockade of Itanagar.

The Adani Foundation has distributed relief kits to approximately 8,000 families in the Nazira Sub-Division of Sivasagar district and Silapathar in Dhemaji district, as part of its flood relief drive in Assam.
