CWS party-list Rep. Edwin Gardiola is facing over 20 counts of non-bailable malversation complaints worth more than P879 million, which have now reached the preliminary investigation stage before the Ombudsman.

The Office of the Ombudsman is evaluating conflict of interest complaints against CWS party-list Rep. Edwin Gardiola and two other lawmakers. Its chief, Jesus Crispin Remulla, also stated that a plunder case against Romualdez is nearing filing.
