Labore: Social security cuts push nearly 100,000 more people into low income

Tax and social security changes introduced by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s government have left nearly 100,000 more people on low incomes than under Finland’s previous system, according to a study by the Labour Institute for Economic Research Labore. The study found that unemployed people, low-paid workers and employees working part-time have borne much of the impact.
